Privacy notice
Last updated 1 October 2026
This notice explains what Monstrè collects when you visit monstre.net or send us an enquiry through the contact form, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to meet our obligations under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Who we are
Monstrè is the trading name of Monstre Pte Ltd (UEN 202233181G), a company registered in Singapore. We build software for organisations and operate the website at monstre.net. Monstre Pte Ltd is the organisation responsible for your personal data. For anything in this notice, write to our data protection contact at hello@monstre.net.
If you only visit the website
We collect nothing ourselves. The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. It is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and when) to run and protect the service. Cloudflare’s handling of those logs is described in its own privacy policy.
If you send the contact form
What we collect
- Your name and email address.
- Your organisation, if you give one.
- What you need, and your message.
To protect the form from spam and abuse, we also handle your IP address and the country it comes from, and the result of a Cloudflare Turnstile check. We use these only for spam and abuse protection: your IP address limits how many messages can be sent in a minute and is passed to Turnstile to run its check, and the country is added to the enquiry email so we can spot junk. We do not keep your IP address ourselves.
Why we collect it
To read your enquiry and reply to you. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share it.
Where it goes
The form sends your enquiry by email, through Cloudflare, to our inbox at hello@monstre.net. There is no database behind the form, and we set no tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details to perform its check, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.
Our inbox is hosted by Google Workspace, so Google stores your enquiry, and any email you send us, on our behalf. Cloudflare and Google may process it on servers outside Singapore, under their own data protection terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we are talking to you, and for normal business records if you become a client. If nothing comes of it and you would like it deleted sooner, email us.
If you email us
hello@monstre.net goes straight to a human inbox. We keep your message for as long as we are talking to you, and use it only to reply and to follow up on what you asked.
Please don’t send us
- Passwords, card numbers, NRIC or passport numbers, or anything covered by medical or legal confidentiality.
- Other people’s personal data, unless you have their consent to share it with us.
If you do, we will treat it under this notice and delete it on request, but we would rather not receive it in the first place.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Withdraw your consent for us to keep using it, which usually means deleting it.
Write to hello@monstre.net. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore at pdpc.gov.sg.
Changes to this notice
When we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
